|Doyle R. Craddock, 69, of Rittman died unexpectedly Monday evening, August 15, 2005, at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital, where he was taken after becoming ill at his home.|
He was born on June 19, 1936, in Arnoldsburg, West Virginia to Glover and Ellen (Slider) Craddock and moved to Rittman in 1954.
He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1954-1956 and was employed at the Packaging Corporation of America for 41 years until retiring in 1999.
He enjoyed gardening, hunting, and fishing.
Surviving are his wife, Deloris (Baker) Craddock; sons James (Eileen) Craddock of Rittman, and Randy (Lois) Craddock of Wadsworth, daughters, Jill (Jim) Bell of Medina, and Wendy (Tom) Ziburis of Alaska; 10 grandchildren; brothers, Leo (Mary) Craddock of Florida, Ron Craddock of Rittman, Harold (Betty) Craddock of West Virginia, Homer (Nancy) Craddock of Rittman, Larry Craddock of West Virginia, and sisters, Hope (Randall) Roberts, and Linda Boatwright, both of West Virginia.
Services were held Friday, August 19, 2005, at Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman. Burial took place at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Seville.
