WILLIAMS RE-ELECTED SPENCER MAYOR

Spencer's longtime mayor Terry Williams was re-elected yesterday, receiving about 70% of the votes. Williams received 472 votes and his opponent, Joellen Greenlee received 180 votes. Greenlee had made an all-out effort to unseat Williams. Spencer's top vote-getters for council: David Holland, Sidney Boggs, Elsie Daugherty, Cecil Banks and Don Williams.
