|Chester H. Burrows "Bubby," 76, Akron, formerly of Calhoun, passed away Mar. 1, 2005.|
Born in Grantsville, W.Va., to the late Albert and Nora (Snyder) Burrows on Aug. 26, 1928, Chester lived in the Akron area most of his life. He retired from Consolidated Freight after 32 years of service and was also a proud member of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Bubby is preceded in death by his sister, Amy Russell.
He is survived by his wife, Loleta; daughter, Deborah Barber; grandchildren, William (Joyce), Justin and Sean; many other loving family and friends; and his beloved pets, Bandit and Gigelo.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Hennessy-Bagnoli Funeral Home, 936 N. Main St., Akron, with Pastor Robert Webb officiating. His final resting place will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park where military rites will be conducted by Firestone VFW Post 3383. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to service time Monday at the funeral home.
