A second WV man has died this week in the attack at Mosul, Iraq. VanKomen was killed in the attack with Army Specialist Cory Michael Hewitt, a Wheeling native. The agency lists VanKomen's hometown as Bluefield. VanKomen joined the Army after graduating from high school in Idaho.
