|T. Leon Goff, 86 of Stumptown, West Virginia, passed away November 27, 2004 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg.|
Born at Dane, Nicholas County, he was a son of the late Tommy Johnson Goff and Ida Mae Doddrill Goff. He was a former miner, mechanic and welder. He was a member of the United Mine Workers Local #37 in Baltimore, Maryland and the Shenandoah Junction Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Idell Goff; daughter, Jean Ashby of Charlestown,WV; 2 sons, Tom Goff of Churchill, TN and Butch Goff of Charlestown; 1 stepson, Jeffrey Stump of Charleston, WV; 2 step daughters, Shelia Garretson and Shirley Hupp both of Grantsville, WV; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Chuck Goff; 2 brothers; 1 sister; 1 grandson.
Funeral services will be held 7:30 p.m. Monday, November 29 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. John Vannoy will officiate. Interment will be in the Pleasant View Memory Gardens at Martinsburg, WV.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
