MCCUMBERS RECEIVES DREXEL ICE SCHOLARSHIP
The Grantsville Lion's Club has awarded the 2004 Drexel Ice Scholarship to Jacob McCumbers, son of Dennis and Sandy McCumbers of Grantsville. This is the 12th annual award of the scholarship, created to honor one of Calhoun's outstanding soldiers.McCumbers was a 2004 graduate of Calhoun High School and is currently attending Glenville State College studying criminal justice.
He has been a 10 year member of 4-H and is now a 4-H counselor.
He is a member of the Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department and is currently tutoring at Pleasant Hill Elementary School.
Donations to the Drexel Ice Scholarship is tax deductible, and may be made to the Calhoun Bank by contacting a Lions Club officer, Ron Hosey, President, Chuck McDonald, Secretary or Bob Bonar, Treasurer.
