|Mildred Dorothy Rose, 89, of Walker died Aug. 13, 2004, at Arcadia Nursing Home of Coolville, Ohio.|
She was born in Wirt County, a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Woodring Nutter. She had been employed by Yonkers Manufacturing for 13 years and attended the Kanawha Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Arthur "Bud" Rose of Parkersburg, David Rose of Ft. Pierce, Fla., and Denzil Rose of Davisville; two daughters, Wilma Rose of Walker and Mary Browning and her husband, Richard, of Reedsville, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Floyd Rose; sons, Clinton Rose, Ronald Rose and Dewayne Nutter; brothers, Roy, Horace and Hershel Nutter; sisters, Jenny Richter, Hazel Wix, Bernice Stewart and Betty Craig; a grandson, Russell Rose; granddaughter, Mary Potts; and daughter-in-law, Virginia Rose.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Busch-Kimes Funeral Home of Elizabeth with the Rev. William Gladson Grim officiating. Burial will follow in the McCray Cemetery, Creston. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
