![]() "We really wanted to honor the vets around here," said Paul Drennen, postmaster at the Chloe post office. Drennen started a "Wall of Honor" inside the entrance to the building, hanging pictures and information about veterans. "The post office is now issuing the World War II commemorative stamp, and this is a good time to remember our soldiers," he said. Drennen, a resident of Roane County, said being the postmaster at Chloe has been a real joy. "The people here are really great and look out for each other," he said. "I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. |
