The Grantsville Town Council had a first reading on increasing the water and sewage rates for the town. An increase for a garbage rate increase was tabled.

The town will open the swimming pool for community use this year. It will be open seven days a week with slightly shorter hours.

Council increased the daily pool admission fee from $2 to $3, slighting raising individual pool passes to $50 and $75 for family.

Council will be advertising for lifeguards.
