|Mildred Mae Kerby, 86, Of Mt. Zion, West Virginia, passed away March 25, 2004 in St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg.|
She was born in Calhoun County a daughter of the late Miles W. and Rosa lee Stump. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. She was a founding member of the mt. Zion Public Service District and a 1935 graduate of Calhoun County High School.
Surviving are two sisters, Myla Fleming of Barboursville, WV and Wauneta Waters of Cincinnati, Ohio. Also surviving are Richard and Karen Kirby and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Willard (Pete) Kerby, her parents, one brother, Austin Stump and one sister, Lillian Eberle.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 2004 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, WV. Rev. Rick Swearengin will officiate. Interment will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery, Grantsville.
Friends may call at the funeral home from t to 8 p.m. Saturday.
