Police finally caught their man, or in this case teenager, after a high speed chase that went through downtown Spencer Monday. Police reported speeds of up to 100 mph as the chase approached Spencer on U.S. 33/119.

It continued down Main and Market streets and Black Walnut Avenue before the driver lost control and his car landed in the creek. Police said a 15-year-old male from Canton, Ohio, was driving a 1999 Camaro reported stolen by his mother a week earlier.
