The rural residence built by Ted and Sarah is on a hillside facing a wooded valley. The couple came to Calhoun over twenty years ago and have chosen to live the "simple life" without electricity.

Sarah used her spacious kitchen to produce some outstanding snacks and deserts, as the group sat around the big table lit by kerosene lamps and candles. The group visited Sarah's studio to enjoy her artwork.
