INFAMOUS WEST VIRGINIA CROOKS - Stumbling And Bumbling |
(02/08/2004) |
We continue our reporting of stumbling and bumbling attached to West Virginia crimes. A Charleston woman is now facing a felony drug charge after she called police and told them her marijuana was stolen. Shane Walker, 25, has been charged with a count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, after police found three ounces of marijuana inside a gym bag belonging to her boyfriend's brother. The woman also told police she sells pot. She showed them a collection of plastic sandwich bags in which she stores the pot. Parkersburg police quickly identified a bank robber who walked up to the drive-in window of a Lubeck bank and said he had a bomb. Richard Lee Huffman, 41, of Wood County, may have fled to Ohio. Last week another Wood County bank robber went through much the same routine, taping a hold-up note to the drive-in window. He got away, but returned later to get his note when authorities nabbed him. |
