TV CABLE COMPANIES RAISE RATES |

Calhoun's two TV cable companies have announced they are increasing their
rates. Charter Communications, which serves the greater Grantsville area, will be raising their basic cable service by $1 to $15.95, their Extended Basic Service by $1.55, resulting in a total cost of $28.60. The increases will be on the February, 2004 bill. Adelphia Cable, which serves the Arnoldsburg area has already raised their basic service packages by $1 or more. HBO package raised $1. Digital packages raised $2.
