The Coronation of Molasses Festival King and Queen will commence at 6 p.m. tonight at the
community building in Arnoldsburg. A pretty baby contest will follow at 7 p.m. on the outside
stage.
The 36th Annual Molasses Festival King and Queen candidates have been announced, all
are students at Arnoldsburg Elementary School.
Pre-School - Alexis Webb, Allen Matheney, Ashley Siers and Jerry Jones.
Kindergarten - Taylor Blosser, Mark Neal, Jessie Jarvis and Mason Carter.
First Grade - Chloey Boggs, Dustin Marks, Miranda Patterson and Logan McKown.
Second Grade - Kelsey Jett, Logan Moore, Stephanie Hall and Michael McCumbers.
Third Grade - Hillary Lane, Ray Atkinson, Heather Hughes, Austin Satterfield, Benson
Hunter Roberts and Ricky Hall.
Fourth Grade - Amber Wilford, Jeff Hoskins, Sara Lane and Brandon Powell.
King and Queen of the 35th annual event were, Jacob Bruce Jett, son of Ronzel and
Tammy Jett of Orma, and Ashley Elizabeth Houchin, daughter of Jeff and Kelley Houchin of
Arnoldsburg.
