CALHOUN DENTAL CLINIC OPEN HOUSE - A Variety Of Family Dentistry Service Offered

Calhoun Dental Medical Clinic will hold an open house on Thursday, July 24th, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. The public is invited to tour the newly remodeled facility from 9-10 a.m. Join Dr. Juanito Aya Ay, Dr. Chandra Maha, and the rest of the staff for coffee and other refreshments. Enter the drawing to win prizes such as a free dental exam, free cleaning, a free set of bitewing x-rays, and much more. Prizes for free dental services are good for one year.

The clinic is proud to announce a new addition to its staff: Amber Miller, a 2003 graduate of West Virginia University Institute of Technology, has joined the staff as a dental hygienist. Dr. Chandra Maha and Amber Miller are available by appointment from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday. To make an appointment, call 354-6144.

A variety of family dentistry services are offered at the clinic. Medicaid and WV CHIP are accepted, and there are several payment options, including a special sliding fee program. Eligibility depends on the number of family members in your household and your total income. Whether you are working or unemployed, if you have no income or an income that makes it difficult to pay for dental care, the sliding fee program helps qualified applicants pay as little as 30% of the total charge for dental services. Dental sliding fee covers a variety of services, including dental examinations, x-rays, cleaning, fillings, dentures, restorations, and extractions.
