The grim death toll of the coronavirus continued on Tuesday in West Virginia as health officials announced another 24 virus-related deaths.

Active cases plunged 501 and were at 7,366. The DHHR also reported 714 new virus cases since the last update, with 33 Calhoun cases.

Hospitalizations are at 646, with 190 in intensive care and 117 on a ventilator.
