(03/07/2001)
The Calhoun Board of Education re-newed their agreement with Minnie Hamilton Health Care for nursing services at Monday evenings meeting, and contracted with Linda Workman to provide psychological services for the system.

The Board said they made significant improvements with the graduation exercise, including the Presidential Academic Fitness Awards, involvement of faculty, staff and Board of Education members, PowerPoint presentation by Senior Class and the development and use of academic mace.

The Board adopted the following conditions for female attire: Dress, shorts, or slacks with dress shoes. Attire for males: Dress shirt with tie, dark dress slacks, dark socks and dress shoes. Tennis shoes will not be allowed. Students not properly attired will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony. Students who cannot provide the attire are asked to contact Mrs. Nichols, Mr. Harris, or Mr. Cartwright well in advance for assistance.
