| A GENTLEMAN'S WONDERFUL LIFE
Funeral services are set for Wednesday at the Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service time. Berdine, a graduate of Calhoun High School, received a Bachelors degree from Glenville State College and a Masters degree from West Virginia University. He retired as a classroom teacher and school principal from the Calhoun County school system. He was a "gentleman farmer" with an interest in cattle farming as a part time vocation, and interests in woodworking, gardening, bee keeping, and fishing. He attended the Mt. Zion Untied Methodist Church and enjoyed teaching adult Sunday school class earlier at the Louisa Chapel United Methodist Church. He and his wife Juanita, resided on the historic Brannon farm on Rt. 16 south of Arnoldsburg.
