SAMPSON AND POSTALWAIT WILL RECEIVE OATH TODAY - Elected Officials Will Take Positions January 1

Two Calhoun officials elected in November will be sworn in today. They will start service on January 1, 2003. Judge Thomas C. Evans III will issue the oath of office at the ceremony at 11:15 a.m. in the court chambers in Grantsville. New Calhoun Commissioner Rick Sampson will take the oath, signifying the beginning of a six year term, and Magistrate Rick Postalwait will begin his official elected term after being appointed to the office.
