UPDATE: CALHOUN DEPUTY ARRESTS MAN WITH STOLEN CAR - McKinney Has Multi-State Arrests

Calhoun chief deputy sheriff Jeff Starcher stopped a vehicle near Orma Wednesday morning after it was reported to be stolen to Calhoun 911.

Justin Lee McKinney, 28, (left), gave a Crummies Creek address, was taken into custody and is charged with grand larceny of a 2006 Jeep Liberty.

The criminal complaint says the vehicle was stolen from Sherrie A. Carter of Orma.

McKinney is in Central Regional Jail with bond yet to be set.

McKinney was reported to have criminal records in up to seven states, and had been arrested in Calhoun in 2009 related to charges of gasoline huffing.

The vehicle was returned to the owner.
