Harold "Scott" Hathaway, 52 - Parkersburg

Harold "Scott" Hathaway, 52, of Parkersburg died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, at Camden Clark Medical Center. His roots are in Calhoun, the grandson of Homer and Catherine Hathaway of Sycamore. A 1981 graduate of Parkersburg High School and a 1985 business administration graduate, and co-owners of the family business with his brother T.R. Hathaway of Superior Auto WV Inc. Hathaway is survived by his parents, Tom and B.J. (Hupp) Hathaway of Vienna; four children, Allison "Paige" Hathaway of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Kennedy Aubrey Hathaway, Regan Joelle Hathaway and Carter Jacob Hathaway, all of Parkersburg; brother, T.R. Hathaway (Sallie) of Vienna; niece, Sarah Hathaway; nephew, Tommy Hathaway; paternal grandmother, Catherine Hathaway of Parkersburg; and longtime companion, Lisa DeGidio. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and a member of West Virginia Auto Dealers Association and Worthington Golf Club. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Fellowship Baptist Church with Pastor Jon Lands officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg.
