CIRCUIT COURT WILL HEAR FOUR FELONY CASES TUESDAY

Calhoun Circuit Court will open at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Grantsville with Judge David W. Nibert presiding.

An arraignment is set for David Lee Carpenter, 56, who was indicted for possession with intent to deliver and delivery of a controlled substance, a felony; and conspiracy, a felony.

Christopher Lamp, 22, who was indicted on two counts of sexual assault in the third degree; two counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, or custodian; and two counts of sexual abuse in the third degree, all felonies in 2013, will be appearing in court for a pre-trial hearing, a trial is set for March 3.

There is an arraignment for Charles Norman, 31, who was indicted for one count of operating and attempt to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, a felony; and one count of purchase, receipt, acquisition, and possession of substances to be used as a precursor to manufacture methamphetamine or another controlled substance, a felony; and conspiracy, a felony.

A hearing is set for Jacqueline Hannah related to a plea.
