HUNTINGTON HOLD-UP - A Huntington man, Johnny Cooper, 28, has been arrested after police say he tried to rob Stogies, a tobacco and beverage store.

Police say Cooper walked into the store just after 11:00 p.m., pulled out a knife and demanded money.

Police say he took off when a second employee came into the store. Cooper is now in the Western Regional Jail.

FRIENDLY DISPUTE - A man is in police custody after firing several shots Saturday afternoon on Charleston's east end.

Police say a man got angry with a friend and fired several shots in the area , with one of the bullets nearly hit a nearby store clerk.

A motorcycle police officer in the area quickly responded, and the suspect was arrested.

WHEELING STABBING - Wheeling police went in pursuit of a car after the driver was driving erratically, attempting to stop the driver.>{? The man continued driving to OVMC Emstar emergency room before stopping.

When he stopped, the driver told the officer that he had been stabbed at a Wheeling Island residence after an argument and was seeking treatment.
