A formal complaint has been filed with the WV Public Service Commission by the Calhoun Commission regarding continued disruption of Frontier's land-line service over a two to three year period to residents of the Big Springs/Five Forks area of the county, and problems related to a second sub-station at Chloe.

The complaint is styled Calhoun County Commission v. Citizens Telecommunications Company of West Virginia, dba Citizens Communications Company.

The WV Public Service Commission has given Frontier 10 days to responded to the complaint.
