WOMAN STABS BOYFRIEND - Parkersburg Police arrested Brooke A. Morris, 18, and charged her with the malicious wounding of her boyfriend, Samuel Howe, 19. A criminal complaint says during an altercation, Morris produced a knife at which time the boyfriend attempted to disarm her.

When the victim tried to take the knife away, Morris stabbed him in the left leg/hip area.

Howe was transported to CCMC and received treatment for his wound, non-life threatening.

Morris was arraigned in Wood County Magistrate Court and failed to post a $75,000 bond and she was taken to North Central Regional Jail.

BROTHER STABS BROTHER - A Scott Depot man, Jonathan Facemyre, 25 is being charged for the stabbing murder of his brother Michael Facemyre, 36.

Michael Facemyre was stabbed multiple times in the chest early Wednesday morning, following what police say was a bitter argument.

Police said the brothers had a history of violence with each other. According to the criminal complaint, Michael's sister called 911 to report he had been struck by their other brother and needed help.

Detectives said they found Michael with multiple stab wounds and a large amount of blood on the porch.

The sister said she heard Michael say, "He tried to kill me" and then she heard Jonathan say "I will finish you off if you want me to," according to the criminal complaint.

Jonathan Facemyre is charged with first degree murder.
