SECOND "GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY" AWARDS PRESENTED

Scott Golinsky (L) and Irona Yeager (R) receive checks from Geneva Nicholson (Center) FRN Thrift Store Manager Submitted by Calhoun County Family Resource Network The Thrift Store Committee of the Calhoun County Family Resource Network announce the winners of the second $500.00 "Giving Back to the Community" Awards. One of the awards went to Calhoun Middle School Boosters (Irona Yeager President) to help pay for new boys and girls basketball uniforms. The other award was went to Scott Golinsky, Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for Calhoun County Schools. Funds will be utilized to purchase equipment that would help service the broad range of fitness levels including kettle bells, jump ropes and training manuals. The Giving Back to the Community Awards will be awarded twice a year January 1st and July 1st with the deadline for submissions December 1st and June 1st, respectively, the committee would like to encourage anyone to apply for these awards.
