ACCUSED CALHOUN BANK ROBBER IN COURT TODAY - Two Other Felony Cases On Docket

(11/08/2011)
Accused Calhoun bank robber Richard D. Vance, 23, will be in Calhoun Circuit Court today before Judge David W. Nibert. The case is listed on a court docket as trial/motions.

State Police say Vance entered Calhoun Banks at Arnoldsburg in September, 2010 and held it up with a hunting knife.

Judge David W. Nibert has already sentenced Vance to prison for violating his probation on a Roane County larceny charge, after the Orma resident fled to Texas.

He is serving 1-to-10 years in the state correctional system, with credit for days already served.

Vance has said he had nothing to do with the bank robbery.
