Calhoun High School, Lady Red Devils hosted the Wirt County Lady Tigers, Thursday, October 7.
The JV dropped the match to Wirt in straight sets 23-25, 25-27.
Amanda Carter led the team in service points with 8 points, 3 aces; followed by Chelsea Hicks 5 points, 1 ace; Shayla Arnold 4 points, 1 ace;
Autumn Blair 4 points, Stephanie Hall 4 points, and Bailie Cain 4 points. Setting: Hicks 35/40, 7 assists.
Hitting: Hall 13/15, 2 kills; Carter 5/5, 2 kills; Arnold 5/10, 2 kills; Blair 3/5, 1 kill.
The Varsity also lost to Wirt in straight sets 25-17, 25-23, 25-22.
Jordan Mace and Amber Wilford led the team in service points with 6 points, 2 aces each; followed by Ashley Houchin, Rochelle Gerwig and Karissa Reip with 4 points each, and Stephanie Hall, 2 points. Setting: Houchin 67/69, 13 assists.
