(09/22/2010)
The WV State Police are "moving forward and making progress," in solving the robbery of the Arnoldsburg branch of Calhoun Banks on September 13.

State Police Sgt. O. S. Starsick said, "We have some current suspects we're looking at," indicating at least one suspect has received a polygraph test.

"We've had several suspects, and have ruled out a couple," Starsick said.

A male entered the bank and threatened employees with a knife, getting away with an undisclosed amount of money.

"We've been working long hours on the case," saying if officers have been slow to respond to any tip about the matter, citizens should call again.

"We want to talk with anyone who has information," he said.

The ATV used in the robbery has yet to be recovered.

Following the robbery, a suspect on an ATV was spotted in the Spring Run, Road Run and Beech area.

The robbery was the second at the same bank in less than two years.

Police arrested the bank robber and two accessories in the December 2008 crime.
