SHARON SETTLE IS OCTOBERFEST PARADE MARSHAL

Sharon Settle of Orma will be the Parade Marshal for the OctoberFest parade Saturday at Chloe.

The parade is part of the annual OctoberFest celebration sponsored by the Upper West Fork Park.

Sharon has lived in Calhoun County most of her life, has two children, Kristie Snider and Benjamin E. Settle of Orma. She has five grandchildren, Caleb, Austin and Stacie Snider, and Ethan and Jacob Settle.

Sharon has volunteered at the park as secretary-treasurer, booking events and helping with the Saturday night sings for many years. "I enjoy working at the park, it's like my second home," she said.

She is a member of the Orma United Methodist Church and has been an Adult Family Care Provider for 26 years, which she says has been a learning experience.

Sharon enjoys reading, traveling, watching TV and meeting people.

"May God bless and be with each one as we journey through this life life. Remember to smile at each other as you pass by, it may be just what someone needed that day," she said.
