A Nobe Road fire that family members and neighbors indicated was set, has not been declared arson, according to the WV State Fire Marshall's office.

Fire Marshall Jason Baltic said it is an "undetermined fire."

The residence of Norma Joy Freshour and her three children was a total loss on May 20th, the house was fully engulfed when the Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department arrived.

Sources at the fire scene said neighbors spotted individuals with sheets over their heads reportedly near the house when the fire started.

No one was home when the blaze started.

State Police have made arrests after shots were fired into the Freshour vehicle a few days prior to the fire. Police also discovered a deactivated grenade in the yard.
