Judy Knotts, RN, BSN will be offering diabetic education at Minnie Hamilton's Grantsville and Glenville offices. She will be providing education in the Grantsville Clinic 2 days a week and 1 day a week in Glenville.
These visits will be scheduled as nursing visits and diabetic patients may call and schedule an appointment any time.
The education will consist of Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetic meal planning, medicine control, physical activity recommendations, how to check blood glucose and how to fit diabetes care into your every day life.
Taking care of your diabetes is a daily job. You may need help or support from your family or friends. You may want to bring a family member or close friend with you when you visit the diabetes educator.
