NEW CRIMINAL JUSTICE TRAINING CENTER DEDICATED IN GLENVILLE

(Photo by Drew Moody) The Morris Criminal Justice Training Center was dedicated Monday afternoon (Aug. 31) by the governor and other dignitaries. The facility is a joint effort involving Glenville State College, the State of West Virginia and the Department of Military Affairs and Public Safety. The former Glenville Shoe Factory and 10-acres of land were donated by I.L. (Ike) and Sue Morris of Glenville. The Morris' also provided funding for the multi-million dollar renovation. All state corrections training will be conducted at the new facility. Ike Morris gave a special thank-you to Brent Boggs, (D-Braxton-34th District) WV House of Delegates Majority Leader, for his efforts which smoothed 11th hour attempts to derail the project.
