AREA POLICE LOOKING FOR ROBBERY SUSPECTS

Regional authorities are looking for a vehicle with occupants involved in a strong armed robbery near Harrisville in Ritchie County. The robbery occurred about 2 a.m. this afternoon. Calhoun County Sheriff Carl Ballengee responded to the BOLO covering Rt. 16 South at the Ritchie-Calhoun County line. Police are looking for a red Pontiac Firebird with Ohio tags. The back glass is reported to be broken out of the vehicle. The vehicle is believed to be occupied by two white males, a female and possibly a young child. One of the male subjects is described as being about 5' 10" tall, weighing 185 pounds, red hair, wearing a white ball cap, a Carhart jacket, blue jeans, and work boots. Authorities believe the vehicle may be traveling Rt. 47 West or Rt. 16 south. If you see the vehicle please call your local 911 center to alert authorities.
