Daniel, Linda, Darren and Peter welcome folks for an ice cream treat

The business complex offers both inside and outside seating

The latest of three business projects being opened by the Peter and Linda Sims family in Arnoldsburg will delight the need to satisfy the sweet tooth.

Roxy's Sugar Shack, located at the "Y" (the intersection at US 33-119 and State Rt. 16) will be the area's stop-off place for ice cream, both hand dipped and soft-serve.

The menu includes most of the items associated with an ice cream parlor, including sundaes, home-made waffle cones and specialty items.

Opening soon will be Ellio's Pizza, specializing in pizza, tacos, burgers and barbecue.

Already attracting area youth and adults is the D & D Arcade, with pool tables and video games.

The eight Sim's kids, ages 10-18, are part of the family project, the family moved to Calhoun to "make a life" in rural West Virginia, purchasing a farm at Arnoldsburg.
