Police are reportedly investigating the breaking and entering of a house Saturday night on Rt. 5, about five miles east of Grantsville.
Sources say the door was broken open on the modular house, which is owned by an out-of-area holder.
No information was available regarding what might have been taken from the house.

Authorities received reports of mailboxes being bashed on upper Nicut and Altizer Road.
Last weekend, there was a number of mailboxes destroyed.

In this case, the vehicle that was struck quickly left the scene.
