GRANTSVILLE MAN ARRESTED FOR FIGHTING

Grantsville Police arrested David Phillip Dye, 37, of Grantsville, for assault and battery, after he accosted Rex Yoak at Gino's Pizza Saturday evening. Grantsville policeman Jeff Starcher said he received a 911 call from the store regarding a fight. Starcher and Cpl. J. B. Hunt, according to the criminal complaint, said Yoak told officers he and his son Aaron came to Gino's to eat, at which time Dye stepped into the restaurant and asked Yoak to "step outside." Dye, according to the report, put his glasses and hat on his truck hood. Yoak said that Dye hit him in the face two times. A store employee and Yoak's son told officers that Dye and Yoak exchanged words and that Dye pushed Yoak up against the door of the restaurant and struck him in the face.
