MYRTLE IMOGENE BRANNON - Lakin

Myrtle Imogene Brannon, 76, of Lakin, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2001, in the Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Point Pleasant.

She was born Dec. 5, 1924, at Sycamore, Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Lewis Maxwell and Otta Poling Brannon.

Survivors include one sister, Alta Keen of Spencer; and one brother, Paul Brannon of Charleston.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Mildred Underwood, Marjorie Brannon, Margeurite Brannon and Madaline Smith; and one brother, Poling Riley Brannon.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Aug. 17, 2001, at 10:30 a.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Leon B. Strickland officiating. Burial will be in the Sand Ridge Cemetery, Sand Ridge, Calhoun County.
