| Ernest Dale Starcher, 51, of 184 Shiloh Road, Statesville NC, died Saturday, June 9, 2001.
He was born at Nebo, WV, April 14, 1950. A son
of the late Ernest and Irene Badgett Starcher. He was employed by Hunt Manufacturing Company and a member of Chapel
Hill
United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Linda Groves. He was married to Hazel
Wike Starcher.
Surviving are three daughters, Jennifer Dale Starcher at home, Marcie Benslay of Ohio, and Misty
Starcher of WV. Three brothers, Loy Badgett of Minnora, WV, Oval Badgett of Newton Falls, Ohio and Larry Starcher of
Revenne, Ohio. Four
sisters, Carol Hudson of Roanoke, Virginia, Oeta Davis of Bristol, Tennessee, Karen Kightinger of Battle Ground Washington and
Edith Tanner of
Arnoldsburg, WV, also foster mother, Maysel Stalnaker of Minnora, WV.
