FCA HUDDLE ENJOY WATER SPORTS

Submitted by Bob Bailey The Calhoun Fellowship of Christian Athletes Huddle met Saturday, August 6th at the home of Huddle leader, Matt Houchin. Also in attendance were, leader Katie Walker, leader Chad Conley, leader, Steven Cunningham, Jeremy Conley, Travis Godfrey, Tommy Gerwig, Josh Funk, Courtney McKown, Tessa Batten, Jeff Goodrich, Tyler Schartiger, Kara Sears, alumnus Mike Batten, hosts Jeff and Kelley Houchin, and Huddle Coach Bob Bailey and wife. After participating in the Warm-up "You Are What You Eat", the Huddle enjoyed some intense water-sport. To quell Courtney McKown's continual requests for food, a most excellent meal, provided by the hosts was thoroughly enjoyed and was quickly followed by more intense water-sport. The Work-out entitled "Brotherliness" was studied and shared. All the Huddle leaders present read from their Bibles a few verses of scripture that meant something special to them. After Huddle Coach Bailey talked for a few minutes to the group, the circle prayer closed the evening ... except for, more intense water-sport! Next Huddle will be at the home of leader Steven Cunningham. September date will be announced.
