STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING PROGRAM GROWING AT CHS

The CCHS strength and conditioning program started in the spring of 2000. Since that time, student athletes have seen the program grow and change. It is one of the most successful programs in the area. Currently there are 37 student athletes participating in the after-school program. The weight room is housed in the facility building near the Red Devil stadium and locker rooms. This year several lifters participated and placed in a power lifting competition at Glenville State College. The obvious advantage of the strength and conditioning program is increased athletic performance and a resistance to injury and fatigue. Coach Bryan Sterns supervises the program and welcomes all student athletes to participate.
