Former Secretary of State Ken Hechler is running for the office again. He stopped
by Grantsville yesterday in his famous Jeep to visit with the Democratic
Executive Committee.
He met with county Dem chairwoman Marge Evans (above) and members of the
committee.
Hechler, a former congressman and well-known author, declined to announce his
age, saying "I have mature judgment."
Evans said a "Meet the Candidate" dinner is being planned within few weeks.
