CALHOUN'S NICHOLAS SMITH RECEIVES DVM DEGREE
Nicholas Lee Smith received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at a commencement celebration held on May 5, 2021, from Mississippi State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in Starkville, Mississippi. He was also awarded the Dr. Clyde E Taylor Endowed Scholarship.Nicholas obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Davis and Elkins College in Elkins, West Virginia, with a major in Biology, a minor in Chemistry and a pre-veterinarian specialization.
He is a 2014 graduate of Calhoun County High School. Nicholas will be practicing at Kirkpatrick Animal Hospital in Henderson, West Virginia. He is the son of Randal and Kandas Smith of Millstone, West Virginia.
