The Hur Herald has disabled the NEWS TIP SUBMISSION link we have used for 25 years.
It has been a difficult decision.
The anonymous link had become a platform for readers to make threats and rail about their political beliefs, wide spread profanity with name calling, links to sell stuff and viruses to hack the Herald.
It has been a time when social media rules the mind, where users now occupy their time to be their own writer, editor and publisher, which we once believed is a good thing.
The Herald recently received a "news tip" that "We're going to take you down," after which several thousand readers could not get on the site, cutting access for lots of readers.
It has been a trying time.
Most appear to have service restored at this time.
