ARNOLDSBURG'S 2020 MOLASSES FESTIVAL CANCELLED - Molasses Making Event To Be Announced

The West Virginia Molasses Festival has been canceled, generally scheduled for late September.

The Arnoldsburg festival has been canceled because of COVID-19.

Daniel "Dip" Mace said volunteers will continue the tradition of molasses making and sell molasses.

The molasses making will likely be during the second weekend of October, to be announced.


The Molasses Festival cane squeezin' and stirrin' crew was busy at work making molasses, most notable was the use of a new building to house the cooking pans, in a process that is very time consuming
