NAKED LADIES APPEAR IN VILLAGE OF HUR - No Arrests Made

These beautiful flowers have many names: Belladonna Lily, Naked Ladies, or Belladonna Amaryllis, the true Amaryllis. The large indoor bloomers at holiday time are called 'Amaryllis' but their botanical name is Hippeastrum. The Belladonna Amaryllis plant produces green, leafy growth that emerges in spring and dies back by mid summer. In late summer, leafless stems shoot upward to produce these elegant, pink flowers.
