Gideon Kendall and Julie Peppito, professional artists from New York were guest artists recently for the Heartwood Young Artist class. In addition to class members, several members of the general public, including local artists, joined in the class. Gideon Kendall and Julie Peppito have been sharing their talent with Heartwood students for a number of years - teaching classes and holding workshops.

At the Tuesday Young Artist class they discussed their Five Basic Principles for an Artist and showed samples of their work.
