Creston resident Pvt. Kenneth V. Starcher has completed U. S. Army basic training at Ft. Benning, Georgia. Starcher, a student at Calhoun County High School, is a member of the 1092nd Engineers in Spencer. After graduation, he will continue with his Advanced Infantry Training.
