CONLEY SENTENCED IN ROANE ON DRUG CHARGES |

A Calhoun man, Richard E. Conley, 56, of Country Lane, Mt. Zion, has been sentenced on drug charges in Roane County by Judge David W. Nibert. Conley had been indicted by a Roane grand jury in January with possession of meth with intent to deliver and obstructing an officer. Conley pled guilty to a charge of simple possession and obstructing. Judge Nibert sentenced him to 90 days in regional jail with fines and costs of $1,500. Conley is set to appear in Calhoun Circuit Court on Nov. 17 for sentencing on drug charges in Calhoun. |
